State Street Declares Quarterly Dividend for Series G Preferred Shares

State Street announced on May 21 that its Series G Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock will pay a quarterly cash dividend of $0.3418 per share, trading under the symbol STT.PR.G. The dividend is payable on June 15, with both the ex-dividend date and record date set for June 1.

State Street is a leading global financial services institution, primarily providing institutional investors with comprehensive services including investment servicing, investment management, and investment research and trading. As of March 31, 2026, the company had approximately $54.5 trillion in assets under custody and administration and about $5.6 trillion in assets under management. It employs roughly 51,000 people globally and operates in over 100 markets.

The Series G preferred stock paying this dividend trades in the form of depositary shares, with each depositary share representing a 1/4000th interest in a share of the Series G preferred stock. This preferred stock is non-cumulative, meaning that if dividend payments are suspended, the company is not obligated to pay any accrued and unpaid dividends on the preferred stock before resuming dividends on its common stock.

In addition to the Series G, State Street also announced quarterly dividend payments for its Series I, J, and K preferred shares on the same day, with amounts of $16.75, $16.75, and $16.125 per depositary share, respectively. Furthermore, common stockholders of the company will receive a quarterly cash dividend of $0.84 per share, payable on July 13.
