Lei Jun Loses Over 290,000 Followers in 30 Days

On October 13, netizens discovered when checking Lei Jun's personal account that over the past 30 days (September 11 - October 11), Lei Jun's net follower growth was negative, losing more than 290,000 followers.

On the 13th, at the Hong Kong stock market's midday close, the Hang Seng Index fell 3.49%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 4.54%. Semiconductor and technology stocks led the decline, with XIAOMI-W falling over 7%.

At approximately 3:16 AM on October 13, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Tianfu Avenue Renshou Shigao section in Chengdu, involving a Xiaomi SU7 vehicle. Based on videos and images circulated from the scene, as well as confirmation from eyewitnesses, the driver tragically died in the accident. Eyewitnesses reported in videos that after the accident, the vehicle caught fire. Attempts to pull the car door and kick it open both failed. On the same day, Chengdu police reported that the accident resulted in one fatality.

On October 12, Lei Jun posted: "Our test team arrived at Panlong Ancient Road, at an elevation of over 3,500 meters, with continuous sharp turns on mountain roads. The 30-kilometer mountain road has over 600 curves. This is a popular local tourist destination, and driving here is indeed thrilling. At the entrance, there's a saying: 'Having navigated all the curves today, life's path ahead will be smooth.'"
