At a communication session following the launch of the LEAPMOTOR A05 on August 11, LEAPMOTOR founder and Chairman Zhu Jiangming stated that the company has now passed its most difficult phase and entered a period where it feels somewhat enjoyable, according to a report on August 13.

Zhu Jiangming indicated that LEAPMOTOR is approaching its peak and is poised to achieve even higher targets. As previously reported in mid-July, LEAPMOTOR Senior Vice President Xu Jun said the company aims to get as close as possible to its full-year sales target in the second half, and currently has no plans to adjust the annual target of one million units. Senior Vice President Cao Li added that he is confident in achieving the full-year sales goal of one million vehicles.

Data shows that LEAPMOTOR delivered 101,267 units globally in July, a 102% year-on-year increase, making it the first new-energy vehicle startup to surpass 100,000 monthly deliveries.
