She County is currently taking advantage of the summer vacation opportunity to accelerate the progress of education project construction, effectively improve the teaching environment, and promote balanced development of education across the county.
On August 2nd, at the construction site of Xin'an Middle School's teaching building renovation project, workers wearing safety helmets were systematically distributed across classrooms on various floors, holding tools to install suspended ceilings. Some completed classrooms already displayed a fresh, bright and clean appearance.
To further promote high-quality student education development and meet the professional needs of arts education, Xin'an Middle School specifically utilized this summer teaching break period to carefully organize professional construction units to systematically renovate 12 multifunctional activity classrooms in the school's arts teaching building. After renovation, these classrooms will be transformed into music and art classrooms equipped with professional equipment according to curriculum characteristics, thereby providing students with a more professional environment that better meets arts learning needs.
Zheng Weiwei, the on-site project manager at Xin'an Middle School, introduced: "We officially began construction on July 10th. Currently, we have completed the suspended ceiling and painting work, with 60% of the project completed. Educational and teaching equipment will be installed starting August 10th, and we strive to deliver it to the school for use before August 20th."
Besides Xin'an Middle School, this summer, more than 20 schools across She County's urban and rural areas are conducting teaching building renovation projects, carrying out professional renovations of functional rooms within schools. These involve multiple categories including music and arts, science experiments, and information technology. Each school combines its teaching characteristics, emphasizing practicality in renovations to ensure functional rooms precisely match teaching needs, helping students improve comprehensive literacy and promoting high-quality balanced education development across the county. Currently, all school projects are progressing orderly and are expected to be completed and put into use before the start of the new school term.
Wang Fangting, Vice Principal of Xin'an Middle School, said: "The completion of professional arts classroom renovations will provide our students with dedicated venues and professional equipment for arts learning. This will help stimulate students' interest in learning arts, improve students' artistic literacy, and also help enhance the school's arts education and teaching level."
Similarly, at Tandu Middle School, in front of the administrative building, project workers are wearing safety gear while building scaffolding, focusing on exterior facade renovation construction. Due to the building's long years of use, the administrative building's roof waterproof layer has suffered varying degrees of damage, and rainfall often leads to roof leakage, affecting normal teaching use. After detailed preliminary inspection and planning, the school seized the summer teaching break period to organize professional construction teams for on-site construction. In addition to comprehensive renovation of the roof waterproof layer and repair of damaged exterior facade areas, they are simultaneously conducting hardening renovation of the school plaza ground surface - replacing the previously rain-eroded, collapsed and potholed damaged ground with uniformly paved, flat and durable asphalt surface, completely solving problems of uneven ground and difficult passage due to water accumulation, making the campus environment more neat and orderly while adding safety assurance for daily passage of teachers and students.
Feng Zhizhou, the on-site project manager, introduced: "This project began construction on July 25th and includes two parts of construction content. Because the construction period is relatively tight, we are continuously investing manpower and working overtime to ensure project completion by August 25th."
