WATER INDUSTRY (01129) announced that regarding the winding-up petition filed by International Finance Corporation, on November 19, 2025, the company received a notice from a creditor, Plateau (supporting creditor), holding unpaid debt of HKD 3 million (representing the outstanding principal amount of bonds issued by the company on April 6, 2018). The notice stated the creditor's intention to attend the petition hearing scheduled for January 21, 2026, in support of the winding-up petition against the company. As of the announcement date, no winding-up order has been issued by the court. The company is seeking legal advice to determine subsequent steps and potential actions concerning the petition.
