6月3日，长和股价表现强劲，盘中大涨5.01%。截至发稿，该股报45.7港元，成交额4.27亿港元。
消息面上，长和今日表示，旗下3英国与沃达丰英国已于上周六完成合并英国电讯业务。合并后的公司Vodafone Three将于未来10年投资110亿英镑，创建欧洲其中一个最先进的5G网络。长和副主席霍建宁表示，此次合并为股东释放庞大价值，集团将收回约13亿英镑净现金。
此外，针对英国《金融时报》的相关报道，长和发言人表示，报道涉及很多有关第三方揣测性材料，颇多不尽不实之处，并不反映集团对建议中中国以外港口交易的取态。长和重申，有关建议中的交易需要经过很多审查，公司一定会全力配合，在未获批准之前绝对不会实施。分析人士认为，公司澄清有助消除市场疑虑，提振投资者信心。
