A consumer complaint platform released its September corporate complaint handling rankings, with data sourced from the platform reflecting companies' complaint resolution performance.
As of the end of September 2025, the platform has received nearly 29.54 million valid consumer complaints, with nearly 770,000 valid complaints in September alone.
To provide more precise and timely insights into complaint handling across different consumer sectors, the rankings are organized by industry and include "Most Watched Sector Rankings" based on recent consumer hotspots, offering valuable consumer reference information.
**Key Issue: Volkswagen Teramont Highway Stalling Nearly Causes Accident with Poor After-Sales Response**
Recently, consumers reported on the complaint platform that their Volkswagen Teramont, purchased over two years ago, suddenly experienced transmission failure while driving on the highway. The vehicle came to an abrupt stop on a curve, creating serious safety hazards. The vehicle was still under warranty, and 4S shop diagnostics indicated the need to replace transmission components. However, aside from repairs, Volkswagen refused to provide any compensation or warranty extension. Consumers argued that quality issues with core components in a new vehicle require more than just repairs to ensure future driving safety, demanding warranty extension and complimentary maintenance services. Currently, Volkswagen's after-sales departments are passing responsibility between each other, failing to provide satisfactory explanations for the failure cause or compensation plans.

Finally, the platform reminds consumers:
The complaint platform helps consumers resolve disputes free of charge. Any claims of official or partner-based fee collection for complaint resolution are fraudulent and impersonation. Consumers should remain vigilant, report suspicious accounts to platform officials, and contact police.
After filing complaints on the platform, dispute resolution involves direct communication between the complained company and consumers. The platform does not have customer service staff proactively contacting to assist with refunds! Consumers should choose official channels for dispute resolution and avoid trusting third-party agencies or individuals offering paid refund services to prevent fraud. Report any fraud to police immediately.
Current official complaint channels include: - Official website (https://tousu.sina.com.cn/) - Official mobile app (download from legitimate app stores) - Mini-programs (WeChat, Baidu, Alipay, TikTok)
Report fake accounts to: heimaotousu@vip.sina.com
To prevent personal information leaks and fraud, note the following: 1. Before submitting complaints, carefully check if complaint text and image evidence expose personal information like names, contact details, addresses, order numbers, or tracking numbers. Hide or blur sensitive information in images. 2. Choose official channels for dispute resolution. Don't trust private messages or comment suggestions for dispute resolution methods, contact information, or accounts claiming to be staff. Don't add strangers via QQ or WeChat, especially those claiming "priority processing for payment" or "special channels for refund assistance." 3. Don't provide bank card numbers, passwords, ID numbers, or verification codes to strangers. Don't transfer money via QR codes or suspicious links. Report fraud to police immediately. 4. Be cautious of international calls starting with 00; don't trust caller ID displays. 5. Legitimate customer service processes refunds through original payment channels. If requests involve QQ, Alipay, WeChat, or website links for refunds, remain vigilant and avoid providing personal information or paying "unfreezing fees," "verification fees," or "security deposits."
To concentrate resources and better serve consumers, the complaint platform currently only accepts complaints related to disputes encountered during actual consumption experiences.
