On September 6th, a report from CCTV's "Chaowen Tianxia" highlighted how the home services industry in Jinan, Shandong, is leveraging artificial intelligence large models to achieve a smart transformation, moving beyond traditional experience-based methods.

In Jinan, home service workers now rely on data to guide their professional care rather than solely on past experience. For instance, Yangguang Dajie caregiver Meng Panpan uses an AI partner on her phone when visiting clients. The large model, considering the elderly person's medical history and current physical condition, generates a complete daily care checklist, clearly outlining tasks such as language function training, massage frequency, and risk precautions.

Meng Panpan explains that for elderly clients with chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, dietary needs are critical. The model's care plan provides professional guidance, even offering instructions for recovery massage and balance training after a recent fall. When uncertainties arise, caregivers can consult the voice assistant for expert advice. After each service, data is automatically uploaded to the system, allowing family members to view complete care records on their phones.

A client, Su Honghong, expresses a sense of relief, noting that daily activities and status are visible to the family, making the service more standardized. Meng Panpan adds that the large model acts as a constant professional mentor, helping her prepare before visits, answering questions instantly, and enabling her to learn new skills during spare time, thereby continuously improving her abilities.

Beyond serving as a personal assistant for frontline workers, the model also supports family consultations, intelligent scheduling for businesses, accurate supply-demand matching, and provides an expert knowledge base, online training, and learning resources to help practitioners enhance their skills.
