Malaysia's state-owned energy company Petronas announced on Thursday that a joint venture with Thailand's PTT, known as Trans Thai-Malaysia, has temporarily shut down the Songkhla Export Pipeline following the discovery of an issue during a routine inspection.
The Songkhla Export Pipeline is a component of the Trans Thai-Malaysia Gas System, which links offshore natural gas production in the Gulf of Thailand to natural gas processing facilities and markets in both Thailand and Malaysia.
Petronas stated that it will take proactive measures to ensure the continuity of customer service.
