Want Want China Executes HKD 7.90 Million Share Buyback, Repurchasing 2.81 Million Shares on 21 September 2026

Want Want China Holdings Limited disclosed a Next Day Return confirming the on-market repurchase of 2.81 million ordinary shares on 21 September 2026. The transaction, carried out on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, was executed at prices ranging from HKD 2.805 to HKD 2.825 per share, for a volume-weighted aggregate outlay of HKD 7.90 million.

Following the buyback, the company’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 11.69 billion shares, as the repurchased shares are pending cancellation. The 2.81 million shares represent approximately 0.024 % of the company’s existing issued share base.

Cumulative activity under the current mandate—approved on 25 August 2026 and authorising repurchases of up to 1.17 billion shares—now totals 54.63 million shares, equivalent to 0.47 % of the issued share count on the mandate date.

Including the latest transaction, Want Want China has 12.53 million shares awaiting cancellation from repurchases executed between 15 and 21 September 2026 at volume-weighted average prices ranging from HKD 2.82 to HKD 2.83 per share.

In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, Want Want China is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares until 21 October 2026, 30 days after the latest repurchase. The company affirmed that all buybacks were conducted within the framework of the Main Board Listing Rules and that no material changes have been made to the previously filed explanatory statement.
