U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration: Ford to Recall 102 Vehicles

Deep News
Aug 16

According to a recall notice published online by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ford Motor Company will recall 102 vehicles.

Ford will recall certain 2024-2025 Lincoln Navigator vehicles that were improperly repaired during recall campaign 24V953. The window auto-reverse system may fail to respond correctly after detecting an obstacle. As a result, these vehicles do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 118 "Power Window Systems."

A closing window may cause excessive pinching to the driver or passenger before retracting, increasing the risk of injury.

Dealers will update the software for the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM) free of charge.

This recall involves 2024-2025 Navigator vehicles.
