Apple's Brief Removal of Telegram from App Store Due to Guideline Violations

Apple stated that it temporarily removed the Telegram instant messaging app from the App Store after a review revealed content violating its guidelines against "child sexual abuse material." The company noted that the app was reinstated after the "developer quickly removed the offending content and banned the user who posted it."
Telegram posted on X platform saying, "Reports of my 'death' are greatly exaggerated." An Apple spokesperson did not respond to further requests for comment regarding the violation of guidelines. Telegram also did not respond to requests for comment.
