China Coal Energy Announces RMB 0.184 Interim Dividend per Share, Payment Set for 21 October 2026

China Coal Energy Company Limited has declared an interim ordinary dividend of RMB 0.184 per share for the six months ended 30 June 2026, according to its 21 August 2026 announcement. Based on the fixed exchange rate of RMB 1 to HKD 1.15598, the payout translates to HKD 0.2127 per H-share.

The ex-dividend date is scheduled for 4 September 2026. Shareholders must lodge transfer documents with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 16:30 on 7 September 2026, after which the register will close from 8 to 11 September 2026. The record date for determining dividend entitlement is 11 September 2026, and payment will be distributed on 21 October 2026.

Withholding tax will apply at a 10% rate for non-resident enterprise and individual shareholders whose shares are registered outside mainland China. Mainland individual investors and securities investment funds accessing the stock through Shanghai-Hong Kong or Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect will be subject to a 20% individual income tax. Mainland enterprise investors using the Stock Connect channels must handle their own tax filings, as the company will not withhold taxes on their behalf.

China Coal Energy’s board comprises executive directors Wang Shudong, Gao Shigang and Liao Huajun; non-executive director Xu Qian; and independent non-executive directors Jing Fengru, Zhan Yanjing and James Kong Tin Wong.
