On the morning of September 20th, the China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneur Association released the 2025 China Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises list in Hefei, with 8 Qingdao companies making the list.
This marks the 21st consecutive year that the China Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises list has been released to the public. This year's ranking is based on companies' 2024 operating revenue.
Haier Group and Hisense Holdings broke into the top 100 of the list, ranking 24th and 56th respectively, with operating revenues of 401.625 billion yuan and 215.327 billion yuan in the previous year.
Tsingtao Beer Group, Sailun Group, and Double Star Group achieved operating revenues of 39.18 billion yuan, 31.802 billion yuan, and 28.26 billion yuan respectively last year, ranking 308th, 362nd, and 383rd on the list.
Qingdao Special Steel, Qingdao Aucma Holding Group, and Qingdao Kangda Holding Group ranked 438th, 444th, and 473rd on the list respectively, with 2024 operating revenues of 22.428 billion yuan, 22.214 billion yuan, and 19.06 billion yuan.
The entry threshold for the 2025 China Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises increased again, reaching 17.365 billion yuan, an increase of 303 million yuan from the previous year.
Notably, among the top 10 enterprises with the highest overseas revenue ratio in the 2025 China Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, Qingdao companies occupied two positions. Double Star Group ranked third with an overseas revenue ratio of 85.67%, while Sailun Group ranked sixth with an overseas revenue ratio of 74.87%.
