Fortior Technology (HKG:1304) made a spectacular debut on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with its shares soaring 8.88% in early trading on Wednesday. The integrated circuit design company's strong start comes on the heels of its highly successful initial public offering (IPO), which raised an impressive HK$2.14 billion (approximately US$274 million) in net proceeds.

The IPO garnered significant investor interest, with the Hong Kong public offering portion being 138.26 times oversubscribed. This overwhelming demand led to an increase in the public offering allocation from 1,630,000 shares to 8,149,800 shares, representing 43.5% of the total offering. The international offering was also well-received, being 8.61 times oversubscribed. Fortior Technology priced its shares at HK$120.50 each, and due to high demand, the company fully exercised its offer size adjustment option, issuing an additional 2,444,900 shares.

The strong debut and substantial oversubscription rates reflect investors' confidence in Fortior Technology's business prospects and the broader semiconductor industry. As global demand for advanced integrated circuits continues to grow, market observers will be closely watching Fortior's performance in the coming weeks to gauge its potential as a key player in the competitive tech landscape.
