YTL Starhill Global REIT Management Limited said on Jan, 22 2026 that an arbitral tribunal has ruled in favour of the landlord, The Trust Company (Australia) Limited as trustee of SG REIT (SA) Sub-Trust2, dismissing Myer Pty Ltd’s claim of lease breach at the Myer Centre Adelaide.

The partial final award rejects Myer’s attempt to terminate its lease for the 324,000-square-foot store, which accounted for about 7.0% of Starhill Global REIT’s portfolio revenue and 8.9% of net property income in the financial year ended Jun, 30 2025.

Legal and professional fees tied to the case total roughly 5 million Australian dollars, and the tribunal will decide on cost recovery in a separate ruling. The manager does not expect the award to materially affect distributable income for the financial year ending Jun, 30 2026.

Further announcements will be made if there are material developments, the manager added.
