TAIZHOU WATER (01542) announced that Binhai Water, established on June 7, 2016, has a registered capital of RMB300 million. As of the announcement date, it is a subsidiary jointly owned by the company (51%) and Taizhou Urban Water (49%). Binhai Water has fully paid up its capital of RMB300 million and primarily engages in financing, construction, and operational management of Taizhou's water diversion project, which commenced supply in October 2022.
Considering Binhai Water’s current operations, the board approved on December 5, 2025, a RMB300 million capital increase, with TAIZHOU WATER and Taizhou Urban Water contributing RMB153 million and RMB147 million, respectively. Post-injection, Binhai Water’s registered capital will rise to RMB600 million, pending shareholder approval via ordinary resolution at an EGM.
The funds will strategically support infrastructure upgrades, operational efficiency improvements, and diversified water management solutions. The company believes this investment will enhance core business operations tied to the diversion project, boosting overall performance while aligning with long-term strategic goals and shareholder interests.
