Yuan Strengthens Against Dollar as Central Parity Rate Set at 6.7787

The People's Bank of China set the yuan's central parity rate at 6.7787 against the U.S. dollar on September 4, marking an increase of 20 basis points from the previous session.
According to the CME Group's FedWatch tool, market expectations for the Federal Reserve's September meeting show a 49.8% probability of holding interest rates steady, while the likelihood of a cumulative 25-basis-point hike stands at 50.2%.
Looking further ahead to October, the data indicates a 35.5% chance that the Fed will maintain current rates, a 50.1% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point increase, and a 14.5% likelihood of a cumulative 50-basis-point rise.
