A cross-border e-commerce matchmaking conference for the Yancheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone was successfully held in Hangzhou on September 16, drawing leading e-commerce platforms, operational enterprises, import brand distributors, cross-border logistics and financial service providers, as well as industry association representatives for discussions on collaboration and shared growth.

Recognized as one of the fastest-growing and most promising foreign trade models, cross-border e-commerce delivers significant momentum for economic development. Leveraging the combined advantages of its national-level comprehensive bonded zone and cross-border e-commerce pilot zone, the Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone has aggressively pursued this sector in recent years, with trade volumes climbing steadily and establishing itself as a new engine for foreign trade expansion.

The event was designed to absorb Hangzhou's proven expertise while building an industrial bridge between the two cities, facilitating a mutually beneficial exchange where Yancheng's openness advantages meet Hangzhou's e-commerce resources. During the meeting, the Yancheng Municipal Commerce Bureau highlighted the city's development potential across six dimensions, including geographical positioning, distinctive industries, foreign trade innovation, brand cultivation, supporting infrastructure, and system construction.

The special customs supervision unit of Yancheng Customs introduced its green channel clearance services, pledging convenient and efficient customs support for enterprises. Meanwhile, the Yancheng Economic Zone emphasized its four core strengths of well-connected logistics, solid industrial foundations, comprehensive facilities, and clustered platforms, focusing on time-saving, hassle-free, cost-effective, and worry-free solutions. Officials extended invitations to both existing and prospective partners to establish quality projects and introduce innovative models, aiming to elevate the cross-border e-commerce industry to new heights.

Subsequently, leaders from the Korea Trade Association's Shanghai Office, Shanghai Lishang Information Technology Co., Ltd., the Smart Logistics Division of Zhejiang Chaopin Group, and Yuedachengda Import & Export Co., Ltd. shared insights on topics ranging from the Korea Trade Association's new e-commerce cooperation strategy and the A2 brand's market entry and operations experience, to the operational performance of the Tmall Global Yancheng Ecological Bonded Warehouse and customs station clearance services. They expressed strong recognition of the zone's industrial growth and business environment, voicing hopes to join forces with more peers in forging a promising future.

Beyond being a platform for presentations, the conference served as a precise bridge matching demand with resources. Representatives from Chaopin Group's Pingding Division, Weijin International, Ulead Network Technology, Weikangpai Technology, Weishi Technology, Wuhan Youhao, Hai Cheng Hi Select, and Haicang Technology also shared their business perspectives during the discussions, expressing optimism about leveraging this opportunity to enhance complementarity, pursue shared benefits, and open new horizons for industry development.
