Samsonite repurchases 1.38 million shares for HKD 20.01 million, reducing outstanding share count by 0.10%

Samsonite Group S.A. (Samsonite) reported a share buy-back executed on 15 May 2026, acquiring 1,382,400 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for an aggregate HKD 20.01 million. The purchase price ranged from HKD 14.03 to HKD 14.61 per share.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined from 1.386 billion to 1.384 billion shares, a reduction of 0.10%. Treasury shares increased correspondingly to 81.98 million.

The buy-back was undertaken under the mandate approved on 3 June 2025, which authorises the repurchase of up to 138.31 million shares. Including this latest tranche, Samsonite has repurchased 2.68 million shares under the mandate, representing 0.19% of the issued share base at the mandate date, leaving approximately 135.63 million shares still available for repurchase.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, Samsonite is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 14 June 2026.
