JBB BUILDERS (01903) announced that on May 8, 2026, the company entered into a six-month memorandum of understanding with Xiamen Jianfu Chain Management Co., Ltd. (the Strategic Partner). According to the MOU, the Group will collaborate with the Strategic Partner to jointly explore chain convenience store business opportunities in Malaysia and Singapore. The parties will conduct a feasibility study for this cooperation and explore potential business models.

The Strategic Partner is a limited liability company established under Chinese law, with its principal business being the management and operation of convenience stores within China. It has built a business system encompassing "brand + operations + supply chain" through operating directly-owned stores, franchising, and wholesale supply chain operations. This system covers multiple areas including product research and development, commercial trade, warehousing and logistics, information technology, live-streaming e-commerce, and R&D testing.

The company views this cooperation as a favorable opportunity to enter the convenience store business in Malaysia and Singapore, as both parties have expressed interest in the chain retail industry and a desire for future collaboration. The cooperation is expected to generate significant operational synergies by combining the Group's established local business network and resources in Malaysia and Singapore with the Strategic Partner's extensive experience in retail franchising and supply chain management. Leveraging these complementary strengths, the Group will be well-positioned to fully capitalize on new business opportunities within the retail sectors of Malaysia and Singapore.
