On November 10, Gansu Province inaugurated its first overseas comprehensive service platform—Overseas Comprehensive Service (Gansu) Platform—in Lanzhou New Area, designed to meet the full-chain needs of local enterprises expanding abroad.

Currently, over 200 Gansu-based companies engage in investment and trade cooperation with countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, spanning key sectors such as agriculture, energy, equipment manufacturing, and information technology. As enterprises accelerate their global expansion, demand for high-quality, specialized overseas services has grown increasingly urgent.

Zou Jun, Deputy Director of the Gansu Provincial Department of Commerce, stated that the platform aims to provide systematic, end-to-end support in critical areas including market development, regulatory compliance, risk management, and overseas rights protection.

On the same day, the Gansu branch of Shanghai Lingang Special Area’s "Going Global" Comprehensive Service Platform and the (Lanzhou New Area) Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park were also unveiled.

Zhang Tieqiang, Chairman of Gansu International Logistics Group, the platform’s operator, emphasized that the group will establish a core hub for comprehensive services. Leveraging partnerships with the Shanghai Lingang platform and ’s industrial park, it aims to facilitate enterprises’ overseas expansion.
