According to an internal memo, UBS Group AG has appointed two senior investment bankers in Asia to fill positions left vacant by recent departures.

One memo states that the Zurich-based bank has hired Andy Neo from Jefferies Financial Group Inc. to lead its real estate, hospitality, and leisure business for Southeast Asia. He will assume the role in August, succeeding Indran Thana, who recently left the firm.

A separate memo indicates that UBS Group AG has appointed Alfred Li as head of its healthcare business in Asia. He replaces Yao Chong, who has relocated to Malaysia to pursue opportunities outside of investment banking.

A Hong Kong-based spokesperson for the bank confirmed the contents of the memos.
