随着许多卖家暂缓挂牌计划，买家的议价优势正在减弱。持续的高房价成本继续让许多潜在买家望而却步，这让仍在寻找房源的买家更容易成交。房屋价值增长已放缓至停滞状态。房屋挂牌销售时间也在延长。
Zillow数据显示，8月份售出的典型房屋需要27天才能找到买家，比去年同期长了整整一周，比疫情前的正常水平长了一天。
