Bank of Zhengzhou Receives Regulatory Approval for Capital and Financial Bond Issuance

In a recent development, Bank of Zhengzhou Co.,Ltd. (HKG: 06196) has obtained regulatory approval for the issuance of new bonds. The bank announced that it has received the "Decision on Administrative License Approval" from the People's Bank of China, permitting it to issue capital replenishment bonds in both the national interbank market and overseas markets.

The approval, valid until June 30, 2027, allows the bank to issue these bonds in tranches at its discretion within this period. By the expiry date, the incremental balance of the capital replenishment bonds is not to exceed RMB 6 billion, with the total outstanding balance capped at RMB 16 billion.

Separately, the bank has also received approval to issue ordinary financial bonds, which includes bonds with specific fundraising purposes. This authorization is also valid until June 30, 2027. The bank may choose to issue these bonds in phases during the validity period. By the deadline, the new issuance balance for ordinary financial bonds must not exceed RMB 20 billion, while the total outstanding balance is limited to RMB 27 billion.
