JINHAI MED TECH (02225) continued its upward momentum on Thursday, climbing more than 4% and touching an intraday high of HK$6.99, marking a fresh listing peak. The stock has now accumulated gains of over 60% since its official inclusion in the Stock Connect program on September 7.

As of the time of writing, the shares were trading up 4.17% at HK$6.745, with turnover reaching HK$128 million.

On the catalyst front, the company's entry into the Stock Connect list on September 7 has opened a compliant buying channel for southbound capital, significantly boosting investor interest and liquidity.

Fundamentally, the company delivered a standout first-half performance, with revenue reaching S$34.02 million—a remarkable 134.16% year-on-year surge. During the same period, the company's loss narrowed substantially, largely driven by explosive growth in its medical device-related operations.

Notably, revenue from minimally invasive surgical solutions, medical products, and related service fees accounted for 74.73% of total income during the period. This particular business segment saw a staggering 301.5% year-on-year increase, generating S$25.43 million in revenue.

The company's strategic focus is clearly shifting from its traditional operations toward the higher-margin medical device sector, a transformation that appears to be gaining strong traction with investors.
