Hong Kong Robotics Group Holding Limited (HK Robotics, 00370) released its Environmental, Social and Governance Report for the financial year ended 31 March 2026 (FY2025/26), detailing progress on decarbonisation, resource efficiency and stakeholder governance.
Environmental Performance and Targets • Total greenhouse-gas emissions fell 22.8% year-on-year to 3.29 million kg CO2e, while the per-employee intensity declined to 28,125 kg CO2e, a 34.7% reduction. • Energy consumption decreased 18.3% to 3.81 million kWh; water use fell 48.1% to 46,425 m³. • Air emissions remained low: NOx 50.71 kg, SOx 0.24 kg and PM 4.55 kg. • The Group sold 61.15 million kWh of geothermal heat after disposing of its centralised steam business in June 2025. • Five-year environmental goals call for 5% cuts (from an FY2021/22 baseline) in greenhouse-gas, NOx, SOx and PM intensities, as well as in energy and water intensities, by FY2026/27. The company also aims to maintain zero hazardous waste generation and minimal non-hazardous waste.
Operational Measures Efficiency projects included installation of variable-speed drives on plant motors, construction of dry-coal sheds to curb dust and moisture, adoption of slag-cooling systems that recover roughly 2.5 GJ of heat per hour, and enhanced dust-suppression and wastewater controls at construction sites.
Climate Strategy Aligning with TCFD and ISSB frameworks, HK Robotics embedded a three-tier governance structure covering oversight, management and execution of climate issues. Scenario analyses used IPCC RCP 2.6 and RCP 8.5 pathways plus IEA NZE 2050 and SPS benchmarks. The Group targets peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.
Social Metrics • Headcount rose to 117 (up 18.2%); 69% are male and 81% are full-time. • No work-related fatalities or lost-time injuries were recorded. • Employees averaged seven training hours; 30% of staff received training during the year. • Turnover rates were 46% for male and 25% for female staff.
Governance and Compliance The Board oversees ESG risk and performance, supported by annual materiality assessments. HK Robotics reported no material non-compliance with environmental, labor, health-and-safety, product responsibility or anti-corruption regulations and incurred no significant fines. Anti-corruption training materials from Hong Kong’s ICAC were distributed to directors and key staff.
Community Engagement The company’s “AI Active Health Centre” participated in a community health day organised by Hong Kong Ferry Company, providing AI-driven traditional Chinese medicine assessments and health services to residents of Shek Pai Wan.
HK Robotics plans to enhance disclosure of Scope 3 emissions, explore additional green-energy opportunities and deepen community partnerships as it progresses toward its stated carbon and resource-efficiency goals.
