PACIFIC ONLINE (00543) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group recorded revenue of HK$273 million, representing a 1.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The loss attributable to equity holders of the company was HK$8.571 million, compared to a profit of HK$10.13 million in the corresponding period last year. Loss per share was 0.76 cents.
The decline in gross profit during the reporting period was primarily attributed to increased outsourcing production costs. In response to the decline of traditional banner advertising, the company has invested in developing new interactive formats to create more content-driven advertising and establish market differentiation advantages. The company believes that with scaling initiatives and process optimization in the coming months, it will be able to manage costs more efficiently.
