Hang Yick Holdings Company Limited (Stock Code: 1894) released the poll results of its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on 2 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The total number of issued shares of the company stood at 921,120,000, of which shareholders holding 99,803,660 shares (approximately 10.84%) attended and voted in person or by proxy.
Two Ordinary Resolutions were proposed, covering the Share Consolidation, the Increase in Authorised Share Capital, the Rights Issue, and the Placing Agreement. Voting on both resolutions recorded 60,108,660 votes (60.23%) in favor and 39,695,000 votes (39.77%) against. Since each resolution received more than 50% of votes cast in support, they were duly passed by way of poll.
According to the announcement, there were no controlling shareholders or directors required to abstain from voting on the resolutions. Tricor Investor Services Limited acted as the scrutineer, and the company’s board of directors was present in person or via electronic means for the EGM. The company highlighted that the approved resolutions will proceed according to the terms outlined in the previously published circular and notice.
