中国光大水务（01857）于香港、新加坡两地上市，现宣布根据董事会决议，将在获股东大会批准后更新股份购回授权，最高可回购已发行股份总数的10%。最新公告显示，公司目前发行股数约28.61亿股，10%约为2.86亿股。
根据公告，公司回购股份所需资金可来自内部资源或外部借款。董事会认为，购回股份有助于提升股东回报并优化资本结构。该项购回将遵循百慕达相关法律与上述交易所上市规则。
公告显示，于交易所市场进行的回购价格上限为近期平均收市价的105%，场外购股也适用相同上限。回购授权有效期至下届股东大会或法定应召开下届股东大会日期（以较早者为准），董事会可在此期间根据市况决定是否及如何实施回购。
董事会声明，将在确保公司正常运营、资金状况稳健的前提下谨慎执行购回计划，并持续关注整体市场环境及公司财务状况。公司强调，此举符合公司及股东的最佳利益，并不影响公司于香港交易所及新加坡交易所的上市地位。
