Xinhua Winshare Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 811) has released a circular announcing a proposal to appoint Li Kun as an Executive Director. According to the announcement, an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) is scheduled to convene on 11 March 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in Chengdu, Sichuan, to review and vote on this appointment.

Li Kun, born in July 1971, is the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Sichuan Xinhua Publishing and Distribution Group Co., Ltd., as well as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Xinhua Winshare Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. If approved, his appointment as an Executive Director will be effective immediately at the EGM and extend until the re-election of the fifth session of the Board. The company further noted that Li Kun will not receive remuneration for serving in this role.

Shareholders intending to vote must submit proxy forms 24 hours prior to the EGM, and the meeting will take place at Xinhua Star Tower A, No. 238 Sanse Road, Jinjiang District, Chengdu, Sichuan. The company’s Board recommends voting in favor of the appointment, stating that Li Kun meets the qualifications for the position and will contribute to the Board’s diversity and expertise.
