Want Want China repurchases 1.00 million shares; cumulative buybacks under current mandate reach 14.12 million

Want Want China Holdings Limited disclosed a share buyback of 1.00 million ordinary shares on 27 July 2026, executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 3.40 and HKD 3.44. The transaction cost totalled HKD 3.42 million.

Including this latest purchase, the company now holds 4.14 million shares that have been repurchased for cancellation but have not yet been cancelled. The outstanding share count therefore remains unchanged at 11.79 billion.

The current repurchase mandate, approved on 26 August 2025, authorises buybacks of up to 1.18 billion shares. To date, 14.12 million shares—about 0.12 % of the authorised limit—have been acquired on-market. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales runs until 26 August 2026.
