高频交易巨头DRW的创始人唐·威尔逊周四公开表态，力挺美国商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）批准涵盖广泛产品的永续期货合约，其中也包括与单只股票挂钩的品种。
在CFTC创新咨询委员会的首次会议上发言时，威尔逊将永续期货合约形容为“一种极具实用性的风险管理工具”。
永续期货合约，业内常称“perps”，是一类永不到期、可全天候交易的衍生品。这类产品允许交易者借助杠杆放大收益，同样也可能放大亏损。
值得一提的是，交易所运营商芝加哥商品交易所（CME）已于今年6月对CFTC提起诉讼，起因是该监管机构批准了Kalshi平台上与加密货币挂钩的永续期货合约上市。CME在诉讼中指出，CFTC将Kalshi的永续合约定性为期货而非互换，此举违反了美国法律。
威尔逊对此表示：“如果我们将这类产品划归为互换，那它们最终只会继续留在离岸市场。若能把它们引入岸上，置于一个安全且受监管的环境中，我们才能真正享受到这些工具所能提供的风险管理效用。否则，我们将错失良机。”
