Within Yunnan's abundant tourism resources, traditional displays of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) are increasingly failing to meet the modern traveler's demand for deep, immersive experiences. Consequently, there is a need to fully excavate the core content and spiritual essence of representative ICH projects, creating the cultural IP "Yunnan Nestled in Intangible Cultural Heritage" to build an integrated ecosystem encompassing cultural inheritance, industrial innovation, community development, and residential travel experiences.
Based on this, provincial CPPCC member and first-class performer Dapo Maji submitted the "Proposal on Deepening the Living Heritage of Intangible Cultural Heritage to Create the 'Living in Yunnan' Super Cultural IP." She recommended: constructing an IP matrix for "Yunnan ICH Living," using "Living in Yunnan, ICH in Heart" as the main IP and developing sub-IP residential products based on local characteristics; creating "ICH Living Communities," establishing habitable training centers, and building ICH-themed residential settlements; launching a Heritage Bearer Partnership Program, producing documentary content about the bearers, and designing immersive, real-world ICH experiences to enhance participation and dissemination; building a "Digital Yunnan ICH Museum," creating online exhibition halls and experience preview platforms, initiating topics for sharing living experiences, and establishing a "Cloud Heritage" live-streaming system for regular displays of ICH creation and daily life; promoting industrial integration and community benefits by setting up an "ICH Creative Benefit" mechanism, cultivating new local ICH artisans, and collaborating with high-end brands to achieve value enhancement, ultimately making Yunnan a land of cultural aspiration for long-term visitors.
