CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. disclosed that it repurchased 856,000 ordinary shares on 29 September 2026 at prices ranging from HKD 1.995 to HKD 2.045 per share, for a total consideration of approximately HKD 1.74 million. All shares were acquired on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and are earmarked for cancellation.
Including the latest transaction, the company bought back 12.04 million shares during 1–29 September 2026 under its current mandate, which authorises repurchases of up to 428.99 million shares. The cumulative buybacks executed to date represent 0.28 % of the shares outstanding on the 28 May 2026 mandate date.
Despite the repurchases, CGN New Energy’s issued share capital remains unchanged at about 4.29 billion shares as of 29 September 2026 because the shares acquired in September have not yet been cancelled. The company held no treasury shares at month-end.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, CGN New Energy is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares following the 29 September repurchase, ending on 29 October 2026.
