Edison Company to Purchase US Liquefied Natural Gas from Shell Starting 2028, Signs 15-Year Agreement

Italian energy company Edison signed an agreement with Shell on Wednesday to purchase liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States, expanding its long-term energy portfolio.

The company stated in a announcement that as the Italian subsidiary of Électricité de France (EDF), it will begin receiving approximately 700,000 tons of liquefied natural gas annually starting from 2028, with the agreement lasting up to 15 years.
