Recently, the 2025 Xianyang Student Science Festival was grandly opened at the Western AI Innovation Port in Xianyang High-Tech Zone. Binzhou City organized a delegation of teachers and students to showcase multiple outstanding sci-tech innovation education achievements, becoming a highlight of the event.
Under the theme "Technology Empowers Binzhou Education, Digitalization Leads Innovative Development," Binzhou City centered around the "Chinese Dream" concept and set up a "Binzhou" sci-tech exhibition platform. The display was divided into three sections: "Space Dream," "Green Dream," and "Health Dream," featuring 17 innovative education projects from various primary and secondary schools across the city.
The exhibited works closely aligned with real-life applications and cutting-edge technological advancements, covering aerospace engineering, intelligent control, environmental protection technology, green transportation, 3D printing, and more.
In the "Space Dream" section: - Gongliu Middle School's "Long March 2F Carrier Rocket" model accurately replicated the classic "one rocket with four boosters" structure, featuring dynamic ascent simulation to vividly demonstrate China's aerospace achievements. - Chengguan Primary School's highly realistic remote-controlled "Y-20 Transport Aircraft" model showcased stable flight capabilities, earning praise as the "soaring Kunpeng of the exhibition." - Ziwei Middle School's "Voice-Controlled DF-5C Smart System" achieved a breakthrough from manual operation to voice command. - Chengguan Middle School's "Binzhou Sky Patrol Drone" and Chengguan No. 2 Primary School's "Phantom Speed J-20 Aircraft Model" demonstrated exploration capabilities in aerospace.
In the "Green Dream" section: - Xijie Primary School's "Smart Clothes Drying Shed," Gongliu Primary School's "Intelligent Energy-Saving Streetlight," and Experimental Primary School's "Stellar Smart Waste Bin" created an intelligent eco-friendly living scenario. - Projects like the "Autonomous Air-Purifying Vehicle," "All-Terrain Wheelchair," Gongliu Primary School's "Future Underground Tunnel," and Fanggong Primary School's "Smart School Bus" provided smart solutions for mobility and health.
In the "Health Dream" section: - Chengguan Primary School's "Smart Home Alarm System" and Chengguan No. 2 Primary School's "Smart Anti-Cheating Eye Chart" focused on safeguarding well-being. - Ziwei Primary School's "Dancing Robot," along with Fanggong Primary School's "3D-Modeled Binzhou Giant Buddha" and "South Lake Red Boat," blended technology with cultural heritage, reflecting students' multifaceted creativity.
This exhibition not only highlighted Binzhou's sci-tech education achievements but also served as a valuable learning experience. Over the years, Binzhou has prioritized "enhancing scientific literacy and nurturing innovative talent" by establishing a four-dimensional mechanism involving government coordination, school-community collaboration, teacher training, and technology integration.
The city has also built three platforms—"curriculum foundation, activity-driven learning, and competition enhancement"—incorporating AI, programming, drones, and paper airplanes into education. These efforts aim to foster a culture where "everyone loves science, and innovation thrives everywhere."
To date, 36 projects involving 61 participants have won awards in provincial and municipal competitions. In the 2024 National Paper Airplane "Carnival" and "Fly Your Dreams" Youth Paper Airplane Competition Finals, the Binzhou Education Bureau received the "Outstanding Organization Award," while Ziwei Primary School was honored as an "Excellent Organizing Unit."
