CCB Vice President Outlines Strategy to Maintain Stability and Safeguard Asset Quality

During the 2026 interim results conference held on August 28, CCB's Vice President Li Jianjiang stated that the bank remains dedicated to balancing development with security, reinforcing its risk management framework and credit risk controls. The approach focuses on optimizing new business growth while effectively managing existing assets, supported by a more refined risk management system designed to facilitate high-quality growth in the real economy.

Li highlighted that CCB's overall asset quality has remained stable, with robust loss-absorbing capacity. As of the end of June 2026, the group's non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.29%, reflecting a decrease of 0.02 percentage points compared to the end of the previous year.

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Li emphasized that CCB will continue to adhere to the principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability. The bank plans to further strengthen its comprehensive, proactive, and agile risk control system, safeguarding the lifeline of asset quality to build a solid foundation for its high-quality, connotative development.
