On the morning of September 15th, recent industry reports have been circulating about Amazon Web Services (AWS) Greater China region planning layoffs, expected to occur between late September and October. The rumored layoff ratio could be between 20% to 30%, with second-tier teams potentially being the hardest hit.
In response to these reports, AWS stated that the related media coverage is seriously false. "Amazon Web Services continues to actively recruit talent in China, providing Chinese enterprises with world-leading, secure and reliable cloud technology," the company responded.
