CENTRAL NEW EGY Holdings Group (01735) has successfully signed a contract for Gotion High-tech's Morocco 20GWh power battery factory project through its subsidiary CENTRAL Low Carbon New Energy (Anhui) Group Co., Ltd. The first batch of 7.63MW "Huanxi" series modules required for the project construction has been successfully shipped. This marks the company's first entry into the North African Morocco market, representing significant progress in overseas expansion.
The project is located in Morocco's Kenitra region, which enjoys over 3,000 hours of annual sunshine with sunny day rates reaching up to 94% in summer, making it a naturally advantaged area for photovoltaic power generation. CENTRAL's "Huanxi" series modules adopt large-size ultra-high-efficiency cell technology, enabling full utilization of the local high irradiation resource endowment through excellent conversion efficiency and power output.
The modules have successfully passed 3x IEC enhanced PID tests, 3x IEC enhanced thermal cycling tests, and 4x IEC enhanced humidity freeze tests, proving their capability to handle Morocco's coastal humid climate with confidence and ensuring high-efficiency, stable power generation throughout their entire lifecycle.
