Crypto Mining Stocks Surge in Early Trading with TeraWulf Leading the Pack

Shares of cryptocurrency mining companies experienced a collective uptick during Monday's early session. TeraWulf Inc. surged by more than 10%, while Hut 8 saw gains exceeding 9%. MARA Holdings advanced over 7%, and both IREN Ltd and Bitdeer rose more than 6%. The positive movement in the sector coincided with a significant rally in major cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin climbed over 3%, reclaiming the $71,000 level, and Ethereum increased by more than 4% to reach $2,171.58. In related news, former U.S. President Donald Trump stated on the 23rd that the United States had engaged in "strong" dialogue with Iran and that key points of an agreement had been formulated. Trump mentioned that the discussions involved the Iranian leadership, though not directly with the Supreme Leader, and were conducted by U.S. Special Envoy Wittkopf and his son-in-law, Kushner. He added that a telephone conversation between the U.S. and Iran was possible on the 23rd, suggesting that any resulting agreement would represent a "great beginning" for Iran and the wider region.
