On the news front, on October 8, autonomous driving company Pony.ai and global mobility platform Uber announced that the two parties are advancing the introduction of Pony.ai's seventh-generation Robotaxi into London, UK, with road testing expected to officially commence within the coming weeks. London will become another core city in the two companies' European Robotaxi large-scale deployment strategy.

In August of this year, Pony.ai and Uber deepened their strategic cooperation, clarifying a development plan to deploy more than 2,000 autonomous Robotaxis across five European cities. Zagreb, Croatia, as the first launch city, has successfully introduced the first commercial Robotaxi service in all of Europe, integrated with Uber and local mobility platform VerneApp, with operations covering the central urban area and airport shuttle routes.
