Oil Price Change Rate Reaches -3.38% on August 25, Gasoline and Diesel Prices Expected to Drop by About 180 Yuan per Ton

Data released on August 26 shows that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oil reached -3.38% on August 25th.

According to the "Oil Price Management Measures," domestic gasoline and diesel prices are adjusted every 10 working days based on changes in international crude oil market prices, with adjustments taking effect at 24:00 on the adjustment announcement date. When the adjustment range is less than 50 yuan per ton, no adjustment is made, and the amount is carried forward to the next adjustment period for accumulation or offset. Under special circumstances stipulated in the measures, price adjustments may be suspended, delayed, or reduced in scope.

August 26th marks the 10th working day of the current pricing cycle, and the adjustment window will open at 24:00 today. This round of domestic gasoline and diesel prices will see a downward adjustment, with an expected reduction of approximately 180 yuan per ton.
