GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad reported revenue of 151.8 million for the three months ended Mar, 31 2026, up 57 % from the same period a year earlier, but swung to a pre-tax loss of 3.5 million after booking a 7.2 million inventory write-down tied to PJ City.
The property developer said year-to-date revenue rose to 425.3 million, compared with 310.1 million in the prior-year period, while profit before tax slipped to 19.0 million from 26.9 million.
Cash and cash equivalents stood at 212.0 million at end-March, compared with 142.7 million at the start of the financial year. Total borrowings amounted to 574.5 million, comprising 128.0 million in short-term and 446.5 million in long-term facilities.
Net assets per share were 2.0741 as at Mar, 31 2026, down slightly from 2.0844 at the June 30 2025 year-end. The board did not declare an interim dividend; a final dividend of 2 sen per share related to FY2025 was paid on Nov, 12 2025.
The company also said a selective capital reduction and repayment plan proposed by controlling shareholder GLL (Malaysia) Pte Ltd remains in progress, with a shareholder meeting scheduled for May, 29 2026.
