On March 15, the venue for NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference (GTC), often referred to as the "AI Spring Gala," was already packed with attendees. A virtual version of CEO Jensen Huang greeted guests at the entrance, offering interactive chat capabilities.

Jensen Huang is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech on March 16, where the chip architecture roadmap and details of the Rubin architecture are expected to be key highlights. The market is also anticipating more information on Rubin Ultra and Feynman.

In terms of product demonstrations, a pre-conference video showed Huang personally promoting NVIDIA's full-stack autonomous driving software platform, DRIVE AV. He drove from an unspecified location to San Francisco alongside NVIDIA's Global Vice President Xinzhou Wu. The entire journey lasted 2.5 hours, covering 27.52 miles on highways and 33.77 miles on city streets, with zero manual interventions required.

Additionally, the popularity of AI agents was evident at this year's GTC. Conference information indicated that attendees could participate in an interactive experience to "create a custom lobster." However, participation required bringing a personal NVIDIA DGX Spark or GeForce RTX laptop, with the stipulation that the device must not contain any personal data, and participants assume all responsibility for any consequences.

The NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2026 is being held from March 16 to 19 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. The event focuses on the new era of competition in AI infrastructure. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will deliver his keynote speech at the SAP Center in San Jose from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Pacific Time on March 16, outlining the company's plans and technological breakthroughs for the coming year.
