Significant Share Deposit Made for KB LAMINATES, Totaling HK$8.59 Billion in Market Value

Recent data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals a notable change in share positions for KB LAMINATES (01888) on June 17th.

The total market value of shares deposited reached HK$8.594 billion, representing 3.17% of the company's issued share capital.

A shareholder deposited 105 million shares of the company with Citibank, resulting in a 3.33% increase in their holding proportion.

In related news, KB LAMINATES, a leading manufacturer of copper-clad laminates, has issued another price increase notice.

The company attributes this to persistently high copper prices and continuously rising costs for glass fabric, which is also in tight supply, leading to a sharp increase in the production cost of laminates.

Consequently, the company has raised prices by 15% for all its FR-4 and PP products.

This marks the fifth price adjustment by the company this year, with cumulative product price increases now exceeding 50%.
