Prudential plc updates on share cancellations and repurchases

Prudential plc announced changes to its share capital following recent buyback activity.

On Feb, 19 2026, the company cancelled 249,043 ordinary shares that had been repurchased on Feb, 17 2026, reducing the issued share count to 2,537,830,270.

As at the same date, a further 667,178 shares repurchased on Feb, 18 2026 and Feb, 19 2026 remain outstanding pending cancellation.

Prudential also disclosed that it bought back 378,388 ordinary shares on Feb, 19 2026 through the London Stock Exchange under its current repurchase mandate. This brings total repurchases under the authority granted on May, 14 2025 to 69,278,401 shares, representing about 2.66 percent of the shares outstanding on the mandate date.

Following the latest transactions, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares until Mar, 21 2026.
