Xi'an No.6 Middle School Education Group has announced teaching vacancies for the 2026 academic year. The institution, founded in 1937 by Mr. Zhang Fang, a veteran of the Xinhai Revolution, was originally named "Northwest Middle School" and was established on the former site of the "Zhongzhou Guild Hall." It was renamed "Xi'an No.6 Middle School" in 1952 and designated as a provincial-level key high school in 1997, making it one of the earliest such institutions in the province. In 2021, it was further recognized as a provincial exemplary high school. With a history spanning 88 years, the school has developed a distinctive educational model.
The high school division is located in the central section of Zhongmao Street, Nanshaomen, Xi'an, situated within the cultural tourism area near the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the city's primary central business district (CBD) on Chang'an Road in Beilin District. The junior high division is situated on Wuwei Shizi, benefiting from a unique cultural environment. Over more than eight decades of operation, the school has become a renowned exemplary institution, widely recognized by the community, trusted by parents, staffed by distinguished teachers, and sought after by students.
The education group currently enrolls over 4,500 students across 86 classes, supported by a teaching staff of more than 280. The campus features fully functional and modern facilities, including teaching buildings, comprehensive laboratory buildings, student dormitories, dining halls, a campus card system, synthetic sports fields, and a turf football field. Applicants must meet the following criteria: good physical and mental health, upright character, dedication to their profession, and possession of the corresponding teaching certification. They should also have a solid professional foundation and outstanding teaching capabilities.
For recent graduates: candidates should be tuition-free normal university graduates from Ministry of Education-affiliated normal universities or hold a master's degree in education.
For in-service teachers: applicants should have over three years of teaching experience and be under 40 years of age, with flexibility for exceptionally qualified candidates. Priority will be given to those recognized as municipal-level or higher subject leaders, key teachers, teaching experts, or outstanding class advisors.
