HK SH ALLIANCE Subsidiary Bids for 30-Year BOT Contract for Hong Kong's Advanced Construction Industry Building

HK SH ALLIANCE (01001) announced that on May 11, 2026, a subsidiary of the company submitted a bid in response to a tender invitation issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government for the development of the Advanced Construction Industry Building located at Tsing Keung Street, Tsing Yi, New Territories. The project is being tendered by the government using a dual-envelope system to select a qualified non-governmental partner. Under a 30-year contract period and following a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) arrangement, the selected partner will be responsible for the project's design, financing, construction, maintenance, and operation. According to the tender requirements, the minimum gross floor area for the Advanced Construction Industry Building must include 15,000 square meters designated for a steel reinforcement prefabrication workshop, 5,000 square meters for a MiMEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) prefabrication workshop, and 5,000 square meters reserved for use as a steel reinforcement prefabrication and/or MiMEP workshop, to be subleased to interested operators. For other advanced manufacturing facilities related to the construction industry, there is no minimum area requirement.
