Horizon Robotics-W's stock plummeted 5.11% during intraday trading on Monday, as investor sentiment was weighed down by the company's latest financial results and ongoing valuation disputes.
The decline follows the release of the company's annual report, which revealed a significant swing to a net loss of RMB 10.469 billion, despite a 57.7% year-over-year increase in revenue to RMB 3.758 billion. Operating losses widened to RMB 3.339 billion, primarily attributed to fair value changes in preferred shares and financial liabilities.
While the company reported near five-fold growth in advanced autonomous driving shipments and saw product solution revenue rise to 43.2% of total sales, the persistent gap between its multi-hundred-billion HKD market capitalization and sustained losses continues to pressure the stock. Annual R&D spending exceeding RMB 5 billion has further amplified profitability concerns among investors.
